We had our wedding reception on 8/1/26 at GH. The owner, Jen was genuinely happy for us and to be the venue selected for our reception. The price is extremely affordable compared to other venues, and offers the option to piece together other venders on your own, or rent items from her (we rented a Photo Booth which was a HUGE hit, and popcorn bar). We hired her as our day of coordinator to set up/ take down decor, and get things completely in order. Everything looked BEAUTIFUL. She checked in with us throughout the months leading up to our big day, and helped take small tasks off my plate which seemed HUGE. Day of, Jen surprised us with our welcome sign and sweetheart table which we got tons of compliments on. Her positive attitude and willingness to help with anything is truly the wedding team every bride NEEDS. Her staff were all polite, happy, and helpful. Jen checked in throughout the day, with a drink in hand for bride and groom. She was never over the top and was confident with her work- You can tell she takes great pride in her work and has a passion for what she does. I highly recommend any bride in the Fox Valley to reach out to see if her venue matches your vision!

The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and so spacious! We used the back room area for the actual wedding ceremony itself and it was stunning with the lights and backdrop. The main area was just as stunning. Jen the owner did an amazing job making sure the centerpiece flowers looked nice and even made more centerpieces from the ones we had as there wasn’t enough. The backdrop behind the head table was so beautiful. The area that was set up for food was fantastic and not in the way at all. Between my mom (as it was her wedding) and me communication was impeccable! Jen made it so special. All the staff members were so nice and professional. Any questions we had Jen would always answer. She really did an amazing job as did her staff!! We had a fantastic time and from planning through the end of the wedding evening we had nothing to worry about and it all went so smoothly! Highly recommend you book The Gathering Hub for your next event! It’s a beautiful space and easy to find.
